Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities

- Month end activities and data integrity, posting of month end adjustments/accruals/other Journal entries, validation errors and submission of financial data in Reporting System.
- Ledger scrutiny and analysis with resolution]
- Fixed asset Accounting (Creation, Disposal, Modifications, Depreciation, Reconciliation)
- Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions, AP, AR, Inter Company recons
- General Ledger account maintenance,
- MIS
- Operational Excellence through Process documentation, Process Quality Initiatives
- Attending to audit queries
- Ensuring regular communication with Business Unit personnel to ensure issues are resolved immediately
- SOX compliance for related activities

12-9pm/2-11pm/5:30pm - 2:30am (UK/US Timings)

What You Need to Succeed

Prior Experience

- Journal Entry preparation and posting
- Fixed Asset process understanding
- Has been doing Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions independently
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Ledger scrutiny

Qualification: B. Com/M.com or CA Inter/ CMA

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a multi-cultural, international environment
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills





Technical Skills

- Accounting fundamentals: should be able to create journal entries on own.
- Strong understanding of the process and should be able to understand accounting flow of entries in different types of accounts.

- Basic MS Word & advanced Excel knowledge
