We are hiring a Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and detailing mechanical components and assemblies for our machinery, using 3D CAD software. You will work closely with our production and fabrication team to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and ready for manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SolidWorks, a solid understanding of mechanical design principles, and the ability to independently handle projects from initial concept to final drawing release. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be willing to visit the shop floor regularly to support production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create 3D models, detailed part drawings, and assembly drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for new and existing designs
- Select appropriate materials, standard parts, and components for each design
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve manufacturing and assembly issues




- Review and revise designs based on feedback from fabrication and testing
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision control
- Assist in cost estimation and design optimization for current projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on design experience in a manufacturing/machinery environment
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks (GD&T; knowledge is a plus)
- Good understanding of fabrication, sheet metal, and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings independently
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
