OBIEE / OAS Analytics & Performance Tuning Expert

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled OBIEE / OAS Analytics & Performance Tuning Expert to drive end-to-end optimization of the Oracle BI ecosystem. This role focuses on improving system performance, resolving bottlenecks, and delivering high-speed analytical solutions that enhance user experience and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Optimization & Tuning

· Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across BI Server, Web Server, and database layers

· Implement advanced tuning techniques such as aggregate navigation, partitioning, and fragmentation within RPD

· Optimize caching strategies to reduce database load and improve response times

RPD Development & Data Modeling

· Design and maintain complex Oracle BI semantic models (RPD) including Physical, BMM, and Presentation layers

· Apply dimensional modeling and star schema best practices to improve query efficiency

SQL & Query Optimization

· Analyze and optimize long-running queries using tools such as Explain Plan, AWR, and ASH

· Push computational logic to the database layer to reduce BI server workload

Reporting & Dashboard Development





· Develop high-performance dashboards and pixel-perfect reports using BI Publisher

· Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Administration & Infrastructure

· Monitor system performance, usage tracking, and capacity planning

· Configure connection pools and tune JVM settings for optimal performance and high availability

Required Skills & Expertise

· Strong experience with OBIEE 12c, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)

· Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning techniques

· Expertise in RPD development, including hierarchies, variables, and security (object & row-level)

· Hands-on experience with WebLogic Server administration and JVM tuning

· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and performance optimization strategies

Preferred Skills

· Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Informatica

· Exposure to large-scale data environments and enterprise BI implementations

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· 5–10+ years of experience in OBIEE development with robust focus on performance tuning

· Relevant Oracle certifications (OBIEE / OAC) are a plus

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
