Role & responsibilities

- Preparation of Electrical/ mechanical design drawings up to 250MVA, 220 KV Power transformers as per the customers & fabricators requirement, Check information record by the team
- Responsible for release of all ranges of electrical design information from Distribution to Power Transformers as per schedule
- Handling the electrical/Mechanical design in tender and execution
- To plan and allocate the work with design matrix to monitor the flow of work
- Resolve design and execution problems with in assigned boundaries
- Smooth coordination with internal and external team
- Align with the objectives of organisational goals
- Interact with customers & facilitator to solve any issue, queries raised by the customer
- Develop team members to understand the gap or deviations and improve on the design concepts
- Coordinate with internal team, shop floor employees & fabricator for smooth execution of transformers manufacturing
- Understand customer requirement prepare quotation & execution design information Make corrective and improvement actions
- Lead business initiatives in design, Quality, testing, materials, manufacturing & productivity.
- Develop mechanisms for delivering output in line with business objectives.




- Responsible for development and leading power transformer tender and contract execution designs in coordination with commercial/sourcing/tendering teams as per customer's specifications and the company's design norms.
- Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules and contract commitments.
- Meeting with customers for brand promotion, training, seminars, resolutions etc. Coordination with Head office in foreign country.

Preferred candidate profile

BE - Electrical or Mechanical Engineers with 4 - 20 years of experience in Designing Power & Distribution Transformers ,

Candidates having experience in design, quality, tender submission and techno commercial experts are preferred

Working knowledge with BIL, VLN or similar Tools is an added advantage.
