Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Furnace Operator to operate and control industrial furnaces used for heat treatment and thermal processing of materials. The role is responsible for maintaining correct temperature cycles, ensuring consistent product quality, and adhering to safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor industrial furnaces for processes such as annealing, normalizing, tempering, and heat treatment

· Load and unload materials using appropriate handling equipment and methods

· Set, control, and monitor temperature, heating cycles, and process parameters as per defined procedures

· Ensure uniform heating, soaking time, and cooling cycles to achieve required material properties

· Verify that processed materials meet specified metallurgical and quality requirements

· Maintain accurate temperature logs, batch records, and production data

· Inspect heat-treated materials for defects such as distortion, scaling, cracks, or improper treatment





· Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines

· Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations

· Perform routine furnace cleaning, inspection, and basic preventive maintenance

· Report equipment malfunctions, abnormal temperature variations, and quality issues promptly

· Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations

Skills Required:

· Basic understanding of heat treatment processes (annealing, hardening, tempering, normalizing)

· Knowledge of furnace operation and temperature control systems

· Ability to follow process instructions and safety procedures accurately

· Basic knowledge of material behavior under heat

· Familiarity with temperature measuring instruments and control panels

· Valuable observation and problem-identification skills

· Ability to work effectively in high-temperature and shift-based environments

Pay: ₹10,681.71 - ₹34,861.81 per month
