Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in MES integration with shopfloor equipment. The candidate will be responsible for enabling seamless data exchange between manufacturing systems and enterprise platforms, ensuring real-time visibility and control of production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement MES integration with shopfloor equipment (PLCs, CNCs, sensors, vision systems)Configure and manage communication using industrial protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus and SECS/GEMIntegrate MES with SCADA/HMI and enterprise systems (ERP, databases)Develop APIs and middleware for data acquisition and orchestrationEnable real-time production tracking, machine monitoring, and reportingTroubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware and software layersEnsure system scalability, reliability, and security complianceCollaborate with cross-functional teams including production, IT, and digital transformationRequired SkillsHands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi,
