Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in web application test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, API testing, and basic exposure to AI-driven testing tools or Generative AI concepts. The candidate will work closely with developers and QA teams to build and maintain scalable automation frameworks.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).- Identify, report, and track software defects using Jira or similar tools.- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure product quality.- Optimize test execution and improve automation coverage.- Utilize AI-powered testing tools or Generative AI to improve test creation, maintenance,



and execution efficiency.- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and testing activities.Required Skills- 2–3 years of experience in QA Automation.- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.- Valuable knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.- Experience with API testing using Postman or REST APIs.- Knowledge of version control using Git.- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.- Understanding of Agile methodologies.- Strong debugging and analytical skills.Preferred Skills- Exposure to AI-powered testing tools (e.G., Testim, Mabl, Functionize, KaneAI, Copilot for Testing) or Generative AI applications in software testing.- Basic knowledge of Playwright or Selenium.- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is an added advantage.Educational Qualification- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Nice to Have- Experience in AI-assisted test case generation and maintenance.- Understanding of prompt engineering for QA use cases.- Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts.
