Job Summary

The ServiceNow L2 Developer is responsible for the development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Development and Customization: Develop and customize ServiceNow applications following best practices.
- Workflow Automation: Implement automated workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using web services, APIs, and other integration tools.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- AI: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI features, including Now Assist, Agentic Workflows and AI Control Tower.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver tailored ServiceNow solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and implement performance enhancements as needed.

Skill Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Transform Maps, Workflows, Integration Hub and REST APIs. Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog etc. ITOM (Service mapping, Discovery, Event Management)
- Certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is required.



Additional certifications in ITIL, ITSM, or related areas are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a proactive approach to learning and development.

Other Requirements

- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Asset Management.
- Experience with ITSM Pro products e.g., Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence and Performance Analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
- Experience with ServiceNow workspaces including UI Builder.
