Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive business growth by promoting industrial machinery, engineering solutions, and recycling plant equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical background with the ability to understand customer requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and develop strong client relationships.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
- Conduct technical discussions, product presentations, and client meetings.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into successful orders.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for technical support.
- Perform market research and competitor analysis.
- Achieve sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Visit customer sites for requirement analysis and technical discussions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-handling abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
Preferred Profile
- Experience in industrial machinery, capital equipment, engineering products, manufacturing, recycling plants, or technical sales.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and industrial customer requirements.
- Ability to build long-term business relationships and close deals effectively.
