Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years specific experience in preparing cost estimates and techno-commercial proposals (offers) in a heavy engineering manufacturing company (pressure vessels, columns, reactors, pressure piping, heat exchangers, boiler components, storage tanks, skids etc.).
Knowledge of ASME standards on materials, welding, NDE, PWHT etc. is a must. Must be familiar with metal forming, machining and manufacturing operations. Hands on experience in Excel and Word is a must. Positive drawing reading skills, comprehension, numerical skills, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
Salary commensurate with skills and exposure. Those with min 2 years experience in the same function could be considered for the position of Engineer. Women are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from other unrelated backgrounds such as plant operation, maintenance etc. and unrelated industries such as chemicals, power plant, process plants etc. or site construction would not qualify for this position. This position is not open for Diploma holders.
