Job Description – Accountant (2–10 Years Experience)

Position: Accountant

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 2–10 Years

Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹90,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.

Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Process vendor payments and customer invoices.

Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.

Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.

Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Support payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processes.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.

Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.

Proficiency in Tally ERP, Tally Prime, Busy, or ERP systems.





Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).

Understanding of accounts finalization and audit processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.

M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred Experience

2–10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.

Experience in Manufacturing, IT Services, Consulting, Startup, or Corporate environments preferred.

Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or Tally Prime will be an advantage.
