Assistant Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to support the finance team in managing daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally Prime, taxation, and accounting practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime.
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.
- Assist in Income Tax filing and ensure statutory compliance.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash and bank transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments.
- Generate MIS reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.




- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required Skills

- Solid working knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and Income Tax filing.
- Experience in petty cash management and bank reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- Experience in accounting, finance, or taxation.
