Role overview
This role focuses on managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes across the business.

What you will own
Own end-to-end accounting operations, including invoice creation, billing cycles, and credit/debit note management
Maintain accurate accounting for import transactions, including duties, freight, clearing charges, and landed cost allocation
Record and reconcile sales, purchases, returns, and operational expenses with high accuracy
Lead GST and TDS compliance, including timely filings, reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies
Handle statutory compliance across GSTN, TRACES, and Income Tax portals
Perform detailed reconciliations across bank accounts, payment gateways, and credit cards
Manage marketplace reconciliations (Amazon, Nykaa, TIRA, Myntra), including payouts and ledger accuracy
Validate marketplace discounts, commissions,



and promotional deductions to ensure margin accuracy
Track and follow up on receivables and payables, ensuring timely collections and vendor payments
Handle vendor and customer queries related to invoices, payments, and discrepancies
Support internal and external audits with well-maintained documentation and audit-ready records
Assist with MIS reporting, P&L; analysis, and financial insights for business decisions
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and continuously improve accounting processes

What we are looking for
3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / CA Dropout preferred)
Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance
Hands-on experience with accounting tools like Tally, Zoho Books, or similar
Good working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
Familiarity with marketplace reconciliations is a plus
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage timelines and handle multiple tasks
Good communication and coordination skills
