Education & Certifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science) or similar degree in Computer Science.

- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Kubernetes) preferred

Key Responsibilities

Cost Analysis & Optimization

- Lead comprehensive cost optimization of AWS and Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and technology spend for all Arkose Labs products and services while maintaining operational efficiency.

- Analysis of AWS and Azure billing data, usage data from asset inventory and monitoring utilization data to assess Engineering teams cloud consumption, identify wasteful spend, and provide actionable insights to optimize spend

- Financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in spending and financial performance across all Arkose Labs products

- Conduct deep-dive investigation of cost overruns and optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis

- Develop and maintain cost optimization strategies, roadmaps, and forecasting models

Technical Leadership & Automation

- Automation with serverless products on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge) and Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid), Python, Terraform etc. to repeat analysis, data collection, recommendation generation, and track benefit implementation to reduce Cost overruns.





- Create and maintain cost attribution models to specific cost centers and automated reporting dashboards

- Implement cloud cost governance frameworks and best practices

- Stakeholder Engagement & Implementation

- Engage with Engineering & Cloud Platform teams to drive optimization implementation

- Work closely with engineering teams to understand infrastructure requirements and provide technical recommendations for cost-effective architecture improvements

- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders

Process Improvement & Governance

- Establish KPIs and metrics to track cost optimization progress and benefit realization

- Develop cost optimization playbooks, documentation, and training materials

- Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with engineering teams

Required Qualifications

- Infrastructure & Cloud technology industry experience (6+ Years)

- Proficient in AWS and Azure infrastructure and services with hands-on experience in cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management)

- Proficient in Python, AWS/Azure CLI, Terraform, and GitHub workflows (4+ Years)

- Proficient in data analysis tools e.g., Excel, SQL (4+ Years)

- Experience with cloud architecture patterns, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines

- Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights

- Ability to translate complex technical data into business insights

- Experience in Engineering, Cost Optimization, and reducing Cloud spend

- Knowledge of Engineering practices and cost optimization methodologies
