We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Diamond Jewellery Merchandiser who can understand customer requirements, identify suitable jewellery designs, and coordinate the development of recent designs according to customer preferences, market trends, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customers’ jewellery requirements, preferences, tastes, occasions, and budgets.
- Recommend suitable diamond jewellery designs based on customer needs.
- Research and identify new jewellery designs, styles, and market trends.
- Develop customized jewellery design concepts in coordination with the design and production teams.
- Prepare clear design briefs, including diamond specifications, metal details, sizes, and other requirements.
- Coordinate with CAD designers, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Follow up on sample development, production timelines, and order completion.
- Review jewellery designs and finished products for quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of designs, customer requirements, product details, and order status.
- Support the sales team with product knowledge, design suggestions, and customer presentations.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving jewellery designs and recommend suitable product selections.




- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a high level of service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Previous experience in diamond jewellery merchandising, jewellery sales, product development, or a related role.
- Good knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, gold, jewellery manufacturing, and design terminology.
- Ability to understand customer preferences and translate them into suitable design concepts.
- Awareness of current jewellery trends and customer buying behaviour.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple customer orders and follow-up activities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, inventory software, or jewellery management systems.
- Knowledge of CAD jewellery design will be an added advantage.
