About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Production to lead and manage manufacturing operations for our railway and industrial product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in production planning, process engineering, quality systems, and team management while ensuring operational excellence across manufacturing activities.

- Contactors
- Snap Action Switches
- Connectors
- Master Controllers
- Driver's Desks
- Panels
- Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB)
- Earthing Devices
- Other Rail Components

Industry

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise production activities for master controllers, contactors, panels, and related products.
- Plan and monitor production schedules based on production orders.
- Issue work orders and allocate resources efficiently.
- Provide process engineering support and resolve production-related technical issues.
- Monitor worker productivity and optimize manufacturing performance.
- Maintain production records, incoming inspection reports, and final testing documentation.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of manufacturing tools, fixtures, test equipment, and machinery.
- Train and develop production personnel on manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to:
- Safety
- Quality




- Delivery
- Efficiency
- Prepare Monthly MIS reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical)

or

- Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering (BE Production)

Experience

- Minimum 12 years of experience in Production Management.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Production Techniques
- Manufacturing Processes
- Quality Management
- Material Management
- Team / Manpower Management
