About HopeMeals

HopeMeals is a high school student-led initiative under A.S. Foundation dedicated to eliminating food insecurity among college students. By leveraging technology, partnerships, and community support, we are building a platform that enables deserving students to access nutritious meals with dignity while connecting generous donors with measurable social impact.

As a Web Development Intern, you will contribute directly to the technology powering HopeMeals. Every feature you build has the potential to improve the experience of students, donors, and partner institutions across India.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Web Development Intern, you will:

- Develop and maintain features for the HopeMeals web platform.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with Firebase and MySQL databases.
- Improve website performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Debug, test, and optimize application functionality.
- Collaborate using Git and GitHub in a professional development workflow.
- Contribute ideas and participate in technical discussions to improve the platform.

Eligibility

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

- Be available for the remote internship.
- Be able to commit to the complete 2-month internship.
