JD for Test Engineer

PRIMARY SKILLS:

Mandatory:

- 2 years to 5 years of experience in web application testing, preferably with ERP products.
- Solid logical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Quick to understand and learn new product concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, with an analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
- Well-organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Automation testing experience is a plus.

Preferred:

- A testing certification

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyse functional and non-functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Write, review, and execute detailed test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
- Perform various types of manual testing, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and System Testing.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and errors to the development team, following up on resolutions.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the product to enhance testing effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst (BA)



team and Senior Test Engineers to gain a thorough understanding of requirements.
- Work with the development team to coordinate bug fixes and track the scheduled delivery of new features.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide clear, actionable feedback to the relevant teams.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and manage responsibilities effectively.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in analyzing both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Solid experience in writing, reviewing, and executing test cases.
- Hands-on experience with different types of manual testing.
- Strong bug reporting and issue-tracking skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

JOB LOCATION: Mysore.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,551.87 - ₹30,960.13 per month
