Voice – Principal Software Engineer

- Ability to plan, organize and execute major meetings and conferences, involving multiple international time zones and cultures, in a calm and professional manner.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and collaboratively in a deadline driven, high pressure setting with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in handling Air travel, Visa, Hotel booking, foreign exchange, and international credit cards.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills

Mission of the Role: Analog and Digital tuner software development for IVI/CDC products

Key Objectives of this Role:





- Design & Implementation of Tuner component in Android HAL layer (C++)
- Design & Implementation of Android Framework and Application (Java)
- Design & Implementation of Tuner Driver Library -AMFM/DAB/SDARS/HD (C ++)

Key Performance Indicators:

- Implementation of features in modular fashion, Unit testing the development
- Perform structured root-cause analysis on tuner defects and implement targeted fixes.

Key Year One Deliverables:

- Test driven development - Implementation of feature/features understanding the requirements and perform end to end testing of feature/features.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

- Master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer/ Electronics Engineering.
- 3-12 years of relevant experience preferably in regional or global environment.
- Experience collaborating with Executive Team and Business Leaders.
- Good in coding C++/Java
- RTOS & OS (Linux/Android) experience
- Embedded Hardware understanding, datasheet, schematics
- Worked on any one of tuner technologies AMFM/DAB/SDARS/DRM/IBOC
- Exposure to RF tools like signal generators, Audio precision analyzer
- Experience of GIT
- Experience in Design tools like Rhapsody/Visio

Reporting Structure:

Candidate would report to Software Project Manager who has experience in tuner technologies, Android tuner development, multiple program delivery.
