Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities

- Planning & Budgeting - Conduct thorough reviews of budgets prepared by the region against project benchmarks to ensure alignment and accuracy. Collaborate with regional stakeholders to address any discrepancies, concerns, or areas requiring clarification on the budgets prepared.

- Cost Optimization - Study the project scope against past projects and project benchmarks, identify areas for optimization and submit inputs for review. Attend value engineering workshops at various stages of the project and ensure participation from relevant stakeholders. Track the action items for the project from the value engineering report prepared across all projects and report progress.

- Monitoring Budgets - Track all changes in budgets. Consolidate all reports received from the regions, analyses the same and highlight deviations.



Track the implementation of recommended action for the region basis cost deviations highlighted across all regions. Review and analyses GFC quantity reconciliation done by the region and highlight gaps for corrective action. Track the implementation of recommended corrective action across all regions.

- Risk Management & Compliance - Provide inputs for the preparation of Risk and Control Matrix for the function. Ensure compliance to the SOP of the function.

- Continuous Improvements - Offer insights for process standardization initiatives aimed at streamlining costing and budgeting processes. Conduct research on upcoming technologies relevant to costing and budgeting, considering factors such as feasibility, scalability, and potential impact on process efficiency. Prepare a plan for implementation of selected technological intervention and drive closure as per plan.
