Job Description – Production Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Production Supervisor to oversee production operations, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fragrance, cosmetic, or chemical manufacturing and be capable of managing production activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor production processes and optimize efficiency while minimizing wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, R&D;, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRA standards and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain production records, batch documentation, and operational reports.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and guide production staff on best manufacturing practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, equipment, and manpower.

Qualifications

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry,



Perfumery, or a related field.
- Certification in Fragrance Technology or Perfumery from a recognized institute will be an added advantage.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

- Strong technical knowledge of fragrance chemistry.
- In-depth understanding of fragrance creation and formulation principles.
- Knowledge of IFRA standards and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with analytical techniques and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with production planning and manufacturing operations.

- Solid sensory and olfactory capabilities.
- Creative mindset with a passion for fragrances and product aesthetics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience

- 3–6 years of experience in fragrance, cosmetic, FMCG, or chemical manufacturing.
- Prior experience in supervising production teams is preferred.
