Technical Program & Project Management Specialist

Within GDIA, the Data Platform & Engineering (DPE) organization has an opportunity supporting engineering and product teams as a Product Line Program Manager.
Data Platform and Engineering withing GDIA is seeking a highly organized Product Line Program Manager to drive operational excellence and team flow within our data engineering organization.
In this role, you will serve as a critical partner to Engineering Managers, facilitating Agile ceremonies, optimizing team capacity, and ensuring Jira remains a high-integrity source of truth for all delivery work.
You will champion program standards and compliance by proactively managing dependencies, risks, and financial accuracy while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through streamlined planning cycles.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented facilitator who can balance rigorous process management to ensure the delivery of high-value platform and data solutions at scale.
Program Management

Big Query, - Bachelors degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience - Excellent communicator to stakeholders at different levels, across diverse regional skill-teams - Ability to articulate complex information succinctly and accurately.



Able to traverse and translate both technical and business language - Experience in leading / managing and inspiring diverse teams - 3+ years of Program Management experience - 2+ years of Software Delivery experience using Agile and/or Lean practices including defining and prioritizing product features and working with backlog management tools - 2+ years of experience managing user requirements and user stories, calculating stories, tracking the delivery process, and managing software projects using Rally or Jira, or similar Agile Tools - 1+ years of experience in supporting Cloud-based Software Products on the Google Cloud Platform (GCS, Big Query, Data Flow), AWS, or Azure - Proven track record in making delivery commitments, managing customer expectations, and delivering on commitments - Proven track record in problem solving - Excellent Team Player

Experience Required:
~ Specialist Exp: 6 years in IT;
~Experience Preferred:
Bachelors in computer science or related field
Prior software development experience
Bachelor's Degree

Standardize Program Management Practices: Champion and enforce consistent program management standards across the Data Platform & Engineering organization, promoting alignment, efficiency and transparency
Drive adherence to program management processes, ensuring that all relevant artifacts are consistently captured and stored for future reference and auditability.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Data Platform & Engineering organization landscape to proactively identify and address blockers, gaps, and dependencies in collaboration with the relevant teams.
Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure that team commitments are accurately reflected in the program management tool (Jira), providing a single source of truth for project status and progress.
Ensure Epic Quality: Manage Scope, Risks, and Issues: Diligently enter and track scope changes, issues, and risks within Jira, adhering to program guidelines to ensure transparency and proactive mitigation. -Resolve Billing Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies identified by the finance team within Jira, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
