Job Title: Head FP&A;
Reporting to- Group CFO
Location- Bangalore BO
Role Summary:
The role will lead financial planning, performance management, and business partnering across FMCG and
Industrial Manufacturing businesses. The incumbent will drive profitability, cost optimization, and working
capital efficiency, while enabling data-driven and AI-enabled decision-making at the leadership level.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead annual operating plan (AOP), rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
- Build volume, revenue, and contribution margin forecasts (FMCG/ Manufacturing-focused).
- Drive cost planning (RM cost, plant overheads, logistics) for manufacturing units.
- Enable advanced forecasting using analytics, automation, and AI-based models

Performance Analysis & Margin Management
- Monitor:

o Gross margin (SKU/category level in FMCG).
o Plant efficiency, capacity utilization (Manufacturing).
o Cost of goods sold (COGS), distribution & logistics cost.

- Conduct deep-dive variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs LY).
- Drive profitability improvement initiatives

Working Capital & Cost Optimization
- Drive and optimize:

o Inventory levels (critical for FMCG).
o Receivables & payables.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings in procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.

MIS & Leadership Reporting
- Drive monthly business reviews with leadership.
- Build dashboards showing:

o Sales vs target
o Margin Performance
o Cost trends
Internal - General Use
o Working capital metrics

- Present insights to CFO with clear action points.

Business Finance Partnering




- Act as a strategic finance partner to business heads across FMCG and Manufacturing
- Provide insights on:

a) Volume growth, pricing, and margins
b) Cost structures and efficiency levers

- Support strategic decisions including product launches, pricing, and investments

Process & Systems
- Improve FP&A; processes, introduce automation and standard MIS formats.
- Drive adoption of AI / machine learning / advanced analytics models in FP&A; processes
- Leverage GenAI tools and predictive analytics for forecasting, scenario planning, and insights

generation.
- Work with ERP/SAP data and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Drive standardization across business units.

Team Leadership
- Lead FP&A; team across multiple business units.
- Build analytical capability and strong financial storytelling.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of FMCG business drivers (volume, pricing, distribution).
- Knowledge of manufacturing finance (plant costing, overhead absorption, inventory).
- Financial modelling & scenario planning.
- Strong exposure to dashboards, analytics, AI / ML applications in finance .
- Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, especially with senior leadership.

Qualification & Experience
- MBA Finance/ CMA - India.
- 15+ years’ experience in FP&A; / Business Finance.
- Strong prior experience in FP&A; and business partnering is critical.
- Prior experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Consumer Goods industry preferred.
- Experience in handling multi-business verticals and working with sales and plant teams will be

an added advantage.
