Seeking an experienced Tax professional with expertise in UK VAT and Indirect Tax processes to support OUP's global finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for tax accounting, VAT compliance, reconciliations, statutory reporting, tax filings, internal controls, and audit support activities.
The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting and tax knowledge, be proficient in SAP S/4HANA, and have experience managing tax-related issues, compliance requirements, and stakeholder communication across multiple business units. The role requires solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict month-end and statutory deadlines.
Experience in VAT returns, tax reconciliations, tax reporting, audit support, and indirect tax compliance is essential. Exposure to multinational environments and ERP systems will be highly advantageous.
