Podar International Schools, Western Maharashtra is looking for System Engineer

- Base Location: Sangli
- Role: System Engineer to oversee IT for 06 to 07 schools in Kolhapur region

Broadly responsible for;

- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across school campuses including desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, smart boards, Wi-Fi and LAN.
- Ensure smooth functioning of school ERP / LMS / online learning platforms, email systems, and attendance software.
- Provide technical support to principals, teachers, admin teams, and students for hardware/software issues.
- Coordinate installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and preventive maintenance of systems and networking equipment.
- Maintain data backup, antivirus protection, cybersecurity, and user access controls.
- Support CBSE digital compliance, online examinations, board portal uploads, and digital documentation.
- Liaise with external vendors / AMC partners / internet service providers for timely issue resolution.
- Monitor IT inventory, procurement requirements, and maintain records of assets/licenses.
- Assist schools with audio-visual setup for assemblies, meetings, trainings, and events.




- Travel/coordinate between Bihar & Bengal campuses to standardize IT systems and resolve escalations.

Pre-requisites / Eligibility

- Graduate / Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Science / Hardware & Networking (BCA / B.Sc IT / Diploma preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in IT support/network administration; school/education sector preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of:
- Windows OS / Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- LAN/WAN / Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Printers, smart boards & classroom tech
- ERP/LMS systems
- Basic server management & cybersecurity
- Ability to handle multiple campuses / remote troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across Kolhapur region as required.
- Basic understanding of vendor management and IT budgeting preferred.

Preferred in School Setup

- Experience with CBSE portals / digital exam processes.
- Exposure to computer lab setup and classroom technology integration.
- Comfortable training teachers on basic IT tools and systems.
