About the Role We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to architect and scale modern data platforms, lead cloud data engineering initiatives, and deliver robust, secure, and high-performance data solutions. The role involves designing and developing our next-generation Cloud Data Lake and Analytics Platform for Workplace Solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and scale modern data platforms to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance data solutions
- Lead cloud data engineering initiatives and deliver end-to-end data solutions
- Design and develop cloud data lake and analytics platforms
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using various tools and technologies
- Develop and deploy batch data processing pipelines and feature generation platforms
- Design and implement high-performance distributed pipelines with strong SLAs, monitoring, and cost efficiency
- Build lake house and warehouse solutions with robust semantic/data models
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of data solutions, from requirements to deployment and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical data platform solutions

Requirements





- Lead data engineering initiatives with 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Big Data / Platform Engineering
- Design and deliver multitenant database and data modeling solutions
- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries across various databases, including Oracle, Azure SQL, MySQL, and Snowflake
- Build and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, SnapLogic, Azure Functions, and Python
- Design and implement DataOps/CI/CD pipelines using GitHub-based workflows and automated database releases
- Develop and deploy event/streaming solutions using Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, or Amazon Kinesis
- Ensure production excellence in financial services/benefits administration, including triaging incidents and root cause analysis

Positive to Have

- Experience leading or mentoring teams on business-critical data platform solutions
- Strong stakeholder communication and Agile delivery experience
