About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SDET-3 to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and developing scalable automation solutions across web, mobile, and APIs. This role requires hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, implementing robust testing strategies, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of automation initiatives, build robust and scalable automation frameworks from scratch, and drive quality engineering practices across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, has a robust engineering mindset, and enjoys solving complex testing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks from the ground up.




- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
- Build and maintain API automation suites using REST Assured.
- Develop end-to-end web automation using Playwright (mandatory).
- Create and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android and/or iOS applications.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality releases.
- Review automation code, improve framework architecture, and drive automation best practices.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 46 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Mobile Automation (Android/iOS).
- Strong experience in API Automation using REST Assured.
- Mandatory experience with Playwright for web automation.
- Proven experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of automation framework architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in cloud-based test environments.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms is an added advantage.
- Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
