Job Summary:
The Head – Electrical Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing the overall electrical operations, maintenance, and reliability of plant electrical systems, including boiler, turbine, and power generation systems in the pulp and paper unit. The role requires strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team for smooth plant operations.
• Ensure reliable operation of boilers, turbines, generators (TG), and associated auxiliaries.
• Handle HT/LT systems, transformers, motors, MCCs, switchgear, and drives.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Monitor and optimize power generation and energy consumption.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in turbines, boilers, and plant auxiliaries.
• Coordinate with instrumentation,



mechanical, and production departments for efficient plant functioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Manage plant shutdowns, annual overhauls, and project execution activities.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, and ensure proper documentation.

Required Skills:
• Solid knowledge of power plant systems, including boilers, turbines, and TG sets.
• Hands-on experience with HT/LT electrical systems and protection systems.
• Good understanding of VFDs, relays, switchgear, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of power management and energy optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within pulp & paper, power plant, or process industries.
• Proven experience in handling large electrical teams and critical plant equipment.
