Job Description:

We are hiring a Sheet Metal Design Engineer with experience in industrial machinery and fabrication design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, flat patterns, and BOMs.
- Coordinate with production team for manufacturability and process improvements.
- Knowledge of laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, punching, and fabrication processes.
- Optimize designs for production efficiency and material utilization.
- Handle design modifications as per customer and production requirements.
- Support prototype development and troubleshooting during manufacturing.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.




- Good understanding of sheet metal design standards and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience in industrial machinery or fabrication industry preferred.

Qualification:

- Diploma / BE Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

- 2 to 5 Years experience in sheet metal design.

Preferred Candidate:

- Practical exposure to fabrication shop processes.
- Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with production and project teams.

Industry Preference:

Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Industrial Machinery Manufacturing.
