Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Process & Planning Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in the fabrication industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of production planning, fabrication processes, material planning, and coordination with production teams to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare production plans and monitor fabrication schedules.
- Review engineering drawings and prepare process plans.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and stores departments.
- Plan material requirements and track material availability.
- Monitor daily production progress and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
- Prepare and update production reports and MIS reports.
- Identify production delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Optimize fabrication processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet customer delivery commitments.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, machining, and assembly.




- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in production planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
- Solid analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Eligibility

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience as a Process Engineer, Planning Engineer, or Production Planning Engineer in the fabrication industry.
- Experience in heavy engineering or manufacturing companies will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or similar).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
