Join Wipro Technologies as a Data Engineer and be a key contributor to transforming our data architecture across multiple locations including Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, and more. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as PySpark, Databricks, and Delta Lake with a strong focus on the Medallion Architecture to ensure efficient and robust data flow throughout the organization.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams to translate complex data requirements into executable data solutions, while ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies. Beyond development, you will perform rigorous data quality validation, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to platform enhancement, ensuring optimal Spark job and cluster performance.

The role demands hands-on expertise in cloud environments, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and AWS S3, alongside a strong command in distributed data processing and data warehousing concepts. You will implement modern CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps, enabling continuous integration and deployment of data engineering solutions.

This position offers opportunities to work with emerging technologies like Apache Airflow, Kafka streaming, Unity Catalog, and automation frameworks, and preferred experience within BFSI domains which will be an asset in navigating complex data landscapes.

Your responsibilities will span the entire data engineering lifecycle, beginning with gathering detailed requirements through workshops and client engagement sessions. You will actively collaborate with clients and internal teams to thoroughly understand business processes, ensuring that all developed modules align perfectly with stakeholder needs.

In the coding and configuration phase, you will be responsible for developing robust, scalable data pipelines and modules that integrate seamlessly across different system components, ensuring reliability and maintainability along with adherence to best practices.

You will conduct comprehensive testing and trial runs of the data processing modules,



validating their functionality and performance to guarantee that they meet technical specifications and business requirements. Participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with clients will be integral to confirm full alignment and readiness for production deployment.

Post-testing, you'll support smooth implementation and integration of data applications within the enterprise ecosystem, working meticulously to uphold system stability and scalability. Maintaining thorough documentation, including flowcharts, system diagrams, and well-structured code comments, will be essential to facilitate ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
