Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, honest, and customer-focused Cashier to manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, strong numerical skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Collect payments and issue invoices or receipts to customers.
- Maintain the cash register and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain daily cash reports and transaction records.
- Process refunds and exchanges as per company policy.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for daily cash deposits.
- Ensure all billing and payment records are accurate.
- Assist customers with payment-related queries.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.
- Follow company policies regarding cash handling and financial security.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of cash handling and billing procedures.
- Good numerical and calculation skills.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and billing/POS software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification

- 12th Pass, Graduate, or Diploma holder.
- Commerce background will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and daily cash reconciliation.
- Comfortable using POS systems and billing software.
