Job Summary

Konnak Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Engineer to lead and supervise all electrical, instrumentation, control, automation, and telecom engineering and construction activities for an industrial EPC project. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering review, construction supervision, contractor management, quality assurance, safety compliance, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover while ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Automation, and Telecom engineering and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, cable schedules, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, instrument location drawings, termination drawings, and control system architecture.
- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, technical documents, and package interfaces.
- Coordinate electrical and instrumentation engineering with Civil, Mechanical, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Construction teams.
- Supervise installation of electrical equipment, instrumentation systems, and control systems.
- Monitor contractor productivity, construction quality, and project schedules.
- Review material requisitions, technical submittals, and vendor documentation.
- Verify quantities for contractor billing and work progress.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover.
- Participate in technical meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications,



approved drawings, applicable standards, HSE requirements, and Quality Management Systems.
- Lead and supervise E&I; supervisors, inspectors, and contractor teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial EPC construction projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Chemical, Fertilizer, Power, Renewable Energy, Cement, Steel, Water Treatment, or Process Plants is preferred.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary EPC projects from construction through commissioning.

- Material Take-Off (MTO).
- Review Material Requisitions (MR) and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
- Contractor management and construction supervision.
- QA/QC inspection coordination.
- HSE implementation.
- Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, IS Codes, NEC, and other applicable engineering standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Zoho ERP, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent for procurement coordination, material tracking, inventory management, and project reporting.
- Solid leadership, communication, planning, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Preferred Competencies

- Strong understanding of industrial electrical and instrumentation construction methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary EPC teams.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under project schedule and cost constraints.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
