E-commerce Marketplace Manager

Job Summary

The E-commerce Marketplace Manager is responsible for managing and growing the company’s presence across online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and other platforms. The role focuses on increasing sales, maintaining account health, optimizing listings, managing advertising, ensuring operational excellence, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Management

- Manage day-to-day operations of all marketplace accounts.
- Monitor sales, traffic, and conversion performance.
- Launch new products and manage catalog updates.
- Ensure pricing, stock, and promotions are updated accurately.

2. Product Listings

- Create and optimize product listings.
- Improve titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, and images.
- Maintain listing quality and resolve catalog errors.
- Ensure all product information is accurate and consistent.

3. Sales Growth

- Develop strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Plan promotional campaigns during marketplace events.
- Monitor competitors and recommend pricing or assortment changes.
- Identify opportunities for new product launches.

4. Advertising

- Manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and other marketplace ads.
- Optimize campaigns based on ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, and profitability.
- Allocate advertising budgets efficiently.
- Prepare weekly performance reports.

5. Inventory Management

- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels.
- Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Plan replenishment based on sales forecasts.

6. Account Health

- Monitor marketplace performance metrics.
- Maintain high seller ratings.
- Reduce cancellations, returns, and defects.
- Resolve policy violations and account issues.

7. Order Operations

- Ensure timely order processing and dispatch.
- Coordinate with logistics partners.
- Monitor delivery performance and resolve shipment issues.

8. Customer Experience





- Coordinate with customer support to resolve buyer issues.
- Monitor product reviews and ratings.
- Identify recurring customer complaints and work with relevant teams to improve products.

9. Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering:
- Sales
- Advertising
- Profitability
- Inventory
- Account health
- Returns
- Analyze trends and recommend improvements.

10. Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with:
- Marketing
- Production
- Warehouse
- Accounts
- Customer Support
- Design Team
- Ensure smooth execution of marketplace operations.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and other marketplaces
- Experience with marketplace advertising platforms

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in marketplace management (or as required by the company).
- Proven track record of growing marketplace sales and profitability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
