About the role

The Batch Plant Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of K2K's CP18 concrete batching plant. The role ensures that concrete is produced as per approved mix designs, in the right quantity, at the right time, and to the quality standards required for industrial construction — where consistency and strength of concrete directly affect the integrity of the structure.

Key responsibilities

- Operate the CP18 batching plant for daily concrete production as per the site's pour schedule.
- Produce concrete strictly as per approved mix designs; ensure correct proportioning of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.
- Calibrate the plant regularly — load cells, weigh hoppers, water meters, and admixture dispensers — to maintain batching accuracy.
- Monitor moisture content of aggregates and adjust water dosage accordingly to maintain the designed water-cement ratio.
- Coordinate with the site team and transit mixer drivers to ensure timely dispatch of concrete to the workfront.
- Maintain daily production records — batch reports, mix design used, quantity produced, dispatch timings, and cube samples taken.
- Carry out daily, weekly,



and monthly preventive maintenance of the plant in coordination with the mechanical team.
- Monitor stock levels of cement, aggregates, and admixtures; raise indents in time to avoid production stoppages.
- Identify breakdowns early; carry out minor troubleshooting and escalate major issues for immediate repair.
- Ensure cleanliness of the plant, mixer, hoppers, and surrounding area at the end of every shift.
- Enforce safety protocols at the plant — PPE usage, protected loading practices, and electrical safety.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience operating a concrete batching plant; experience on Schwing Stetter CP18 (or similar CP-series plants) is strongly preferred.

Skills

- Hands-on operating knowledge of the CP18 control panel and batching software.
- Understanding of concrete mix designs, slump, and basic concrete technology.
- Ability to perform calibration and basic troubleshooting on the plant.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules for batching plants.
- Discipline, reliability, and a strong safety mindset.
- Willingness to work in shifts and during night pours when required.

Pay: ₹10,205.90 - ₹30,285.81 per month
