Job Description:
Key Responsibiity
Project Execution & Site Activities
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, DG sets, piling rigs, machinery, etc.).
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project teams for smooth execution of site activities.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Prepare daily progress reports and site activity logs.
Maintenance & Equipment Management
- Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of construction machinery and tools.
- Coordinate repairs, spares procurement, and vendor services.
- Maintain records of equipment usage, servicing, and breakdowns.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and company policies.
- Conduct safety checks and toolbox talks related to mechanical operations.
- Assist in audits and inspections related to mechanical systems.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Assist in technical evaluation of vendors and suppliers.
- Support procurement of mechanical materials, spares, and consumables.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and installation support.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Maintain drawings, manuals, test reports, and maintenance records.
- Support project billing, certifications, and cost control activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in safety or maintenance (preferred)
Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in construction/infrastructure/geotechnical project
- Salary—up to 30K in-hand salary (food & lodging provided by the company).
