Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge network management and orchestration solutions for Wireless LAN devices. In this role, you will lead a team in building scalable, high-performance systems in cloud-native environments, leveraging your expertise in Java/Go and your deep understanding of wireless networking protocols and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect & Develop: Lead the design and development of network management and orchestration solutions for Wireless LAN devices, focusing on cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and/or Go.

Cloud Platforms: Build and optimize scalable systems on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, ensuring distributed systems’ reliability and efficiency.

Wi-Fi Management: Implement solutions for Wi-Fi device management, client provisioning, and network optimization, covering technologies like Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Wi-Fi 6E.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, QA engineers, and network architects to define and deliver features on schedule.

API Development: Design and maintain robust RESTful APIs for seamless integration with network devices, cloud platforms, and third-party services.

Database Management: Utilize SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) technologies for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Event-Driven Architecture: Implement messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ for real-time communication and orchestration.

CI/CD and DevOps: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, ensuring rapid and reliable feature delivery.

System Optimization: Analyze and enhance system performance, focusing on low-latency, high-throughput applications in wireless networking.





Troubleshooting: Lead efforts to identify and resolve complex technical issues, particularly in distributed systems, network performance, and connectivity.

Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, promoting high coding standards, efficient practices, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Programming Languages: Proficient in Java (Java 8+) and/or Go for backend development in microservices architectures.

Cloud & Microservices: Strong experience in cloud-native designs with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Database Expertise: Advanced knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) databases, including data modeling and optimization.

Messaging Systems: Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar systems for event-driven communication.

Wi-Fi Standards & Protocols: In-depth understanding of Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 6E, and legacy standards like 802.11n. Familiarity with protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, and SNMP.

Wi-Fi Security: Expertise in security protocols, including WPA3, WPA2, 802.1X, RADIUS, and AES encryption.

API Development & Testing: Proven ability to develop and test RESTful APIs for device and service integration.

Performance Optimization: Solid analytical skills for optimizing system performance and scalability in distributed environments.

Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, manage tasks, and deliver complex projects on time.

Experience Requirements:

13+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior engineer role, focusing on network management and orchestration in the Wi-Fi domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with advanced Wi-Fi optimization techniques.

Certification in cloud platforms or networking technologies.

Contribution to open-source networking projects.
