Job Description:

Position: Officer/Executive - Design & Development

Location: Dabhel - Daman

Experience: 2 - 3 Years

Industries: Pharma

Responsibilities:

- Design & Drafting
- Create and revise 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and SolidWorks.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings for pharmaceutical equipment, piping layouts, utility systems, and plant infrastructure.
- Design customized components and assemblies as per process requirements and GMP norms.
- Equipment & Facility Development
- Collaborate with process, production, and maintenance teams to understand equipment needs and translate them into workable designs.
- Support the modification and upgradation of existing equipment and layouts for capacity enhancement or process improvement.
- Assist in new equipment development and pilot plant setup.
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for the development and fabrication of designed equipment.
- Review and validate mechanical drawings and designs to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all design work complies with relevant GMP, FDA, WHO,



and engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate design documentation, drawing archives, and design change control records.
- Innovation & Value Engineering
- Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and functionality.
- Evaluate and recommend design improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and SolidWorks
- Good understanding of pharma manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Required Qualification:- B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 6.00 LPA
