Job Title: US Accounting Specialist (AR, AP, GL)

Location: Pune / Remote

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced US Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
- Handle Accounts Payable, including vendor invoice processing, payment issuance, and reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting documents
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies




- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Provide support for external audits and financial statement preparation
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in US accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in US accounting, preferably in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to Have:

- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP
