Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and API testing.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.




- Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning.
- Perform API testing.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and prepare test execution reports.
- Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes.

Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium Web Driver.
- Experience in Appium for Android and iOS automation.
- Strong understanding of API Automation using Rest Assured.
- Experience testing REST APIs, JSON payloads, JWT/OAuth authentication, and API chaining.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL database validation.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Working knowledge of Docker is preferred.
- Experience with Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently own QA activities for assigned modules.

Good to Have

- Experience with Performance Testing (JMeter).
- Exposure to AWS Cloud environments.
- Experience with Browser Stack/Lambda Test for cross-browser testing.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools (Git Hub Copilot etc)
- Experience with Enterprise B2B applications, including SFA, DMS, CRM, ERP, eCommerce, or Loyalty platforms.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
