Responsibilities
- Primarily support Linux / UNIX Systems architecture
- Managing of directory services including LDAP
- Managing system backup, archive and restore as required
- Work with monitoring tools to maintain system and network health
- Work with desktop support staff when necessary to provide additional troubleshooting support
- Network Trouble Shooting and Maintenance of Cisco Hardware (Certifications will be a plus)
- Working closely with the technical and functional team to help design systems and infrastructure
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience in an IT related organization
- Minimum of 5 years experience in UNIX/Linux system administration
- Advanced Perl scripting knowledge
- Should have robust networking and IT security knowledge
- Strong experience working with firewalls, VPNs, proxies, Email & Encryption Gateways, Web Application Firewalls, wireless solutions and MDM solutions
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
