Area Sales Manager (ASM) – General Trade (Offline)

About the Role

We are looking for a result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive business growth across the General Trade (Offline) channel. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in distributor management, sales team leadership, and market expansion within FMCG. Prior experience in a startup environment, or the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organization, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive primary and secondary sales through the General Trade distributor network.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, stockists, and super stockists.
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Officers/Executives to achieve sales targets.
- Expand market coverage, outlet reach, and distribution across the assigned territory.
- Execute trade schemes,



promotional activities, and channel development initiatives.
- Ensure product availability, distributor health, and effective inventory management.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and identify business opportunities.
- Build robust relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers to strengthen brand presence.
- Ensure timely sales reporting, forecasting, and compliance with company policies.

What We're Looking For

- 6–12 years of experience in General Trade (Offline) sales.
- Strong expertise in distributor management and team handling.
- Experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Hygiene, Baby Care, or related categories.
- Prior startup experience or willingness to work in a high-growth startup environment.
