We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing, vendor coordination, inventory management, and cost control within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the procurement of food, beverages, operating supplies, and other resort requirements.
- Source and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain vendor records and build robust supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and budget standards.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand purchasing requirements.
- Verify goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock planning to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain procurement documentation and prepare periodic purchase reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Previous experience in procurement/purchasing (hospitality experience preferred).
- Valid Driving License.
- Good computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, and email).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
