Role Description The Autocad Drafter at STM Fire is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This role is responsible for preparing detailed fire protection and life safety drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts for detection, suppression, and passive protection systems. The Autocad Drafter collaborates with engineers, project managers, and architects to interpret design requirements, incorporate technical specifications, and update drawings throughout project life cycles. Daily activities include producing shop drawings and coordinated drawings, revising plans based on review comments, maintaining drawing standards, and organizing documentation for approvals and compliance.



The role also involves ensuring that all drawings meet relevant codes, project timelines, and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications

- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing for building services or fire protection projects.
- Experience creating and modifying Shop Drawings for installation and coordination purposes.
- Ability to produce and interpret Architectural Drawings and work collaboratively with architecture and engineering teams.
- Understanding of Architecture fundamentals related to building layouts, sections, and elevations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and familiarity with industry drawing standards.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related technical field.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow specifications, and solid organizational skills.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems, building codes, or safety standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
