Key Responsibilities

- Collect blood samples from patients using standard phlebotomy techniques.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all age groups.
- Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during sample collection.
- Maintain accurate records of collected samples and patient information.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and safety protocols.
- Assist in home sample collection when required.
- Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and consumables.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of samples.

Eligibility

- DMLT, BMLT, GNM, ANM, or a certified Phlebotomy Technician course from a recognized institution.
- Experience in a diagnostic centre, hospital,



or pathology laboratory is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and good practical skills may also apply.

Skills Required

- Excellent blood collection and venipuncture skills.
- Good communication and patient handling abilities.
- Knowledge of infection control and specimen handling protocols.
- Basic computer knowledge for patient registration and documentation.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
