Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that development practices meet high standards of quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the role involves coordinating efforts across multiple teams to achieve cohesive and effective software products.

Must Have:
7+ years of hands-on experience design and development using in Java 21, Quarkus, Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JUnit and knowledge relational Databases e.g. Oracle, Sybase, PL/SQL
Exposure to Microservices architecture, Azure Cloud, Docker, Serverless
Kubernetes with valuable understanding on pods, containers, services, istio
Good experience working with Redis
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend with frontend
Familiar with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor s degree in computer science or engineering, or related field.

Nice To Have




Understanding of UI tech HTML5, CSS3, react (including Hooks), JavaScript, TypeScript.
Apply best practices in Agile and DevOps, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards of quality, security, reliability, and compliance.
Experience with performance tunning
Experience with DevOps
Implementing UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions following industry standards and patterns.

- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
