Key Responsibilities:

- Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, or Inventor).
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design validation.
- Develop and test prototypes, analyzing performance and implementing design improvements.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on functional and cost requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, quality, procurement, and project teams.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve design-related issues during production.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and technical documentation.
- Support product development from concept through production and product lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design (experience level may vary by role).
- Proficiency in one or more CAD software packages such as SolidWorks,



Creo, CATIA, AutoCAD, or Siemens NX.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, GD&T;, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, machining, welding, casting, injection molding, or fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with FEA/CAE tools is an advantage.
- Positive problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Understanding of relevant engineering standards (ASME, ISO, ANSI, etc.).
- Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
