Engineer (Std. Valves) – Design - Pune

Position : Engineer (Std. Valves) – Design

Qualification : B.E Mechanical

Relevant Industry : Control Valves, Pump, Pressure vessels, Boiler, Turbo Machinery & Piping skids. (Experience in project-based industry is preferred).

Experience Required : 2–3 years

Location : Alandi Factory, Pune

Employment Type : Permanent

Job Description –

- 1) Review and analyze customer specifications, technical requirements, and project documents to ensure compliance with project standards.

- 2) Prepare technical datasheets for Control Valves, Blowdown Valves, Desuperheaters, and Ball Valves based on process conditions and project requirements.

- 3) Perform control valve sizing and Kv/Cv calculations based on process parameters such as flow rate, pressure drop, temperature, and fluid properties.

- 4) Select appropriate valve accessories (positioners, actuators, limit switches, solenoid valves, air sets, etc.) based on application and control philosophy.

- 5) Review customer comments and provide technical responses, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with contractual requirements.

- 6) Interpret/read P&IDs; and related engineering drawings required for valve selection.

Required Skill Set

- 1) Ability to review/study customer specifications & Process Parameter Understanding.

- 2) Familiarity with Standards & Engineering Codes like ASME, ASTM, ISO, IS, DIN, EN, API, etc.

- 3) Valve Selection & Application Engineering Knowledge required.

- 4) Required Knowledge of Valve Accessories like actuators, positioners, solenoid valves, limit switches, air filter regulators, and other valve accessories.

- 5) Capability to review customer comments, provide technical clarifications, and resolve queries effectively.
