Job Description

In the current MRO facility for M88 military engines in India, the GTR Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly and disassembly of engine modules and components, following technical documentation and quality standards. The role includes ensuring proper installation, using the correct tools, documenting work performed, reporting defects or anomalies, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The assembler collaborates closely with inspection and quality teams to guarantee compliance and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

MAIN DUTIES

- Assemble and disassemble engine modules and components following technical manuals and quality standards.
- Ensure proper installation and alignment of parts using approved tools and equipment.
- Inspect assembled parts for defects or anomalies and report findings.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and update documentation as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with inspection and quality teams to ensure compliance and support corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly process
- At a later stage,



pass on his knowledge to new recruits through mentoring.

CANDIDATE

- Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
- 15+ years experience in assembly, preferably in aerospace or industrial testing environments
- Familiarity with ground test rigs or similar equipment is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Rigorous, proactive, and quality-oriented
