Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the company's financial operations, accounting processes, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho Books and a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, payroll, and financial management. Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely bookkeeping using Zoho Books.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance and filings.
- Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursements.
- Prepare budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
- Monitor project costs, expenses, and profitability.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
- Support procurement and project teams with financial analysis and cost control.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory-related financial records.




- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Experience in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and MIS reports.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the construction, real estate, or contracting industry.
- Knowledge of project accounting and cost tracking.
- Familiarity with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Experience working with auditors and statutory authorities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
